Dr. William Stringer has been serving patients at Eye Associates since 2018. He received his optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee and is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO). Dr. Stringer’s medical interests include diabetic eye exams, routine vision care, contact lenses, glaucoma treatment, dry eye treatment, and medical-based optometry. The value of vision keeps Dr. Stringer engaged in his work at Eye Associates. “The sense of sight is the most valuable sense. Each day, I have the chance to come to work and help people improve and preserve their sight,” he said. “I can spend a short time with a patient and make a profound improvement in their quality of life just by improving their sight. I can’t think of a more impactful endeavor. I love what I do.”

A 2013 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, Dr. Stringer enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and being an active member of his church. Out of office, Dr. Stringer loves crawfish boils, Southern Miss football and baseball, and going on his family’s annual Horn Island camping and fishing trip.
